Agile Patency Capsule Instructions

Request an Appointment

Day before your test:

  • Clear liquids on the day before the test. Start the prescribed diet after lunch.
  • Do NOT eat or drink anything, except for necessary medications with a sip of water, 10 hours before your test.

Day of your test:

  • Continue fasting and arrive promptly for your appointment

After ingesting the Agile Patency Capsule:

  • After ingestion of patency capsule, do NOT eat or drink anything for 2 hours
  • 4 hours after ingestion, you may have a light snack
  • 8 hours after ingestion, you may continue your normal diet
  • If you suffer from any abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting during the test please contact our office immediately.
  • After ingestion of the patency capsule until it leaves your body, avoid being around any source of powerful electromagnetic fields such as one created near MRI’s.
