Gastrointestinal Bleeding

Overview

Also known as gastrointestinal hemorrhage and is a form of blood loss. When there is severe bleeding over a short period of time, symptoms may include vomiting red or black blood, bloody or black stool resulting in anemia, feeling tired or heart related chest pain. Other symptoms may include abdominal pain, shortness of breath, pale skin, or passing out. Some may present with no symptoms.
